Rock and Roll Yard Sale

According to an article in the Boston Globe last week my fair city has become almost too hip to function. We're number two in the nation of residents between the ages of 25 and 34, just behind Hoboken. We even beat Cambridge...hazaah!

This weekend Union Square hosted an event to really drive that point home...a Rock and Roll Yard Sale! There were food vendors, live music, dozens of stands selling old vinyls, vintage clothes everywhere, and more hand made jewelry than you could dream of.

Naturally, I had to stroll down to see what's up. Even though I didn't end up making any purchases it was fun to walk around and look through everything and people watch.

Love you Somerville and your crazy hipster population!

Little Things

In an attempt to start the week off on the right foot I thought I'd put together a few of my favorite little things from the weekend that made me smile. When in doubt, have a maple bacon donut and some serious puppy time with two little guys named Henry. That's a guaranteed way to turn things around.

Happy Tuesday everyone!
