Little Things

In an attempt to start the week off on the right foot I thought I'd put together a few of my favorite little things from the weekend that made me smile. When in doubt, have a maple bacon donut and some serious puppy time with two little guys named Henry. That's a guaranteed way to turn things around.

Friday Pick Me Up

Today I have the Friday morning blues (weird, I know) and can't seem to shake it so I thought I'd put together some of my current favorite little things to nip my bad attitude in the bud. It's also an attempt to work on my resolution to be more positive instead of sulking - two birds with one stone! Boom.

Little Things

This past week has been a rather quiet one, no major events or outings planned just a bunch of little things making me smile everyday.

Delicious food, random 80 degree fall days, spontaneous plans with friends, contemplating just wearing a giant poncho for Halloween, and discovering a "leprechauns door" at a local Irish pubs wall are all helping me stay sane.

Now to just get through this week because my house is having our Second Annual Halloween Bash and I don't know if I can wait till Saturday for it!

1. Peanut Butter Thing (it's a tradition) 2. Leprechauns Door 3. Late night thin crust pizza heaven 4. Where did I pack my sandals away to? 5. Pumpkin beer 6. A poncho's a costume...right? 7. Little Things - St. Patrick's Day Edition

While St. Patrick’s Day may not technically be considered a “little thing” it sure does make this girl happy! Having studied abroad in Ireland in college, anything that reminds me of the Emerald Isle holds a special place in my heart. This holiday is, of course, taken very seriously in Boston and my friends and I jumped at the opportunity to celebrate with plenty of green, drinks, and fun all around. So here are a couple of the little St. Patrick’s Day things that made it a special and fun weekend!

1. Green Rice Crispy Treats – Sustenance for the festivities!

2. Miniature Green Top Hat – Silly yet, oh so perfect.

3. Perfect March Weather in Boston –

Spring has come early here & that made running around

the city decked out in green just that much more amazing.

4. "If you see leprechauns, stop drinking!" –

Saw this on a local liquor store sign and it seemed like an appropriate warning.

Little Things

I’m the type of person whose mood is easily impacted by little things. A kind compliment on an outfit I spent time planning the night before or someone surprising me by buying my morning tea and you’ve instantly got a grinning girl. So, I thought I’d take a minute and share a couple of the little things (since that is the name of my little ole bloggy after all) that are pleasing me to pieces right now.

Saw these beauties while grocery shopping and I couldn’t resist.
